Old School Hardware in Mt. Pleasant, which has been open since 2010, is on the market. Owners Katie and Phil posted on Facebook that they’re moving out of town and are looking for someone to buy the store and keep it running. Here’s what they had to say:
Dear Neighbors,
Since July of 2010, my wife Katie and I have owned Old School Hardware. We’ve been proud and honored over the years as our customers, neighbors and friends have helped us to make it one of things that makes Mt. Pleasant a special place. We have decided to pursue a new opportunity outside the DC area and will be selling the store. We’re hopeful that the next owners will share our love of this community, but also have a passion for continuing to make the store the best it can be.
