There are lots of days and plenty of ways to enjoy this light and crisp adult beverage! But there is only one National Lager Day! It’s the drink of choice for many at sporting events, backyard barbecues and birthday parties and the lager is the light, hoppy drink that is loved the world over. No one really knows how this holiday came about, but one thing is for sure, America loves this beer!
We have a few favorite spots in CoHi that serve a great Lager to celebrate this one of a kind holiday that we’re going to list for you! The Artemis is a Columbia Heights sports bar that offers a “Power Hour Weekdays” happy hour from 3-4pm with $1 beers. A great opportunity to grab a lager and relax!
There’s the Thirsty Crow which offers a chill and relaxing sports bar atmosphere as well as their “Blackwing Lager” that’s delish!
Lastly, Lou’s City Bar is a fun filled, family friendly sports bar with 30 taps to choose from including some great Lagers in the area. If you’re looking for a low-key place to celebrate National Lager Day, these are some awesome places to start!
