Help Shape Columbia Heights Day 2021

Since 2005, the Columbia Heights community has gathered together in June for the Columbia Heights Day Festival—a celebration of diversity and community with the neighborhood’s finest food, drink, and entertainment.

Organized by District Bridges, a local nonprofit dedicated to community development, and District Bridges’ Columbia Heights Main Street program, the festival promotes local artisans, entrepreneurs, and businesses.

While it’s very positive that the vaccine roll-out is underway, experts project we won’t be returning to pre-pandemic life until fall. This means Columbia Heights Day as we know it will need to wait until 2022.

Although a street festival isn’t possible this year, Columbia Heights Main Street is considering alternate ways of bringing the community together to celebrate and support the neighborhood and its businesses.

They would like to hear from residents and businesses to help determine what the community would be most interested in.

Please take a minute or two to take their super quick survey below! The survey will close on Sunday, January 31.
