Help us meet our goal of feeding 5,000 people at the 20th Annual Safeway Feast of Sharing!
The 20th Anniversary Safeway Feast of Sharing, a free, citywide community event for persons in need will be held on Wednesday, November 27, 2019, from 9:30 am to 1:00 pm at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center located at 801 Mt. Vernon Place, NW. We need your help in spreading the word to reach our goal of feeding 5,000 people.
Co-sponsored by Safeway, Events DC and our caterer Aramark along with several other partnering organizations, the Safeway Feast of Sharing celebrates the spirit of the “season of giving” by serving a festive meal on the day before Thanksgiving to underprivileged District of Columbia residents, senior citizens and veterans. Feast of Sharing includes a community services expo, health screenings and raffle prize drawings. Feast attendees also look forward to selecting from new/gently-used clothing for men, women, children, and infants – available at no charge.
