The Coupe On 11th Street Might Reopen In October

Many residents have been wondering if The Coupe on 11th Street has any plans to reopen or if they have closed permanently. The good news is that they do not have any plans to make their closure permanent.

Here’s what we know:

The Tryst Trading Company, which owns and operates The Coupe, Tryst, The Diner, and Open City, closed all of their locations on March 17th, 2020. Since then, only Tryst, The Diner, and Open City have been reopened.

On September 3rd, in a letter to staff, owner Constantine Stravoloupos wrote:

“We will not be opening any locations this month but hope to reopen The Coupe and possibly Open City at the National Cathedral in October. We don’t have a set date nor do we know what the hours of operation will be- and it is not an absolute certainty, just a hopeful plan based on what we know today.”

Sounds like you may be able to get that latté or cocktail at The Coupe sooner than you think!

Editor’s Note: We have reached out to The Coupe to see if they have any other details surrounding their reopening timeline that they would like to share. This article will be updated if we receive a comment from them.
