It was bound to happen. Chickass, the women’s clothing store at 14th and Parkwood, which prominently features mannequins with prominent backsides (and butt-enhancing pants), has changed its name to just Chickas.
That actually makes sense, as “chicas” means “girls” in Spanish, as does chicks in English slang, but it was too funny that it included the butt reference too. However, on Sunday I walked by and noticed their new, permanent sign read only “Chickas.”
It was fun while it lasted. You’ll always be Chickass to me.
