Today is National Voter Registration Day, and the DC Board of Elections is hosting a registration drive today until 6 pm at the YWCA, 2303 14th Street. Here’s more details. Sounds like a great opportunity to get registered in DC (or at your current address if you’ve moved) so you can have a voice in your neighborhood.
The DC Board of Elections is currently registering DC residents on site at the YWCA National Capital Area (2303 14th Street NW) from 12:00pm- 6:00pm today.
Today, September 23rd is National Voter Registration Day and in 2008, 6 million Americans didn’t vote because they missed a registration deadline or didn’t know how to register. Today, volunteers, celebrities and organizations from all over the will “hit the streets” for National Voter Registration Day. #CelebrateNVRD (Pictures)
