This is neat, the RAMMYs, the Restaurant Association of Metropolitan Washington’s yearly restaurant awards, have four fan-voted categories this year, and two local spots are up for them: Petworth Citizen on Upshur for “favorite gathering place” and G by Mike Isabella, the sandwich spot next to his Kapnos, for “best fast bites.”
I’m not sure how the options were chosen (Lauriol Plaza for “favorite gathering place”?) and personally I’d think Petworth Citizen would be on the best brunch category too, but you can vote here. Always nice for local spots to win some plaudits.
You can vote once until May 31, but who knows how stickly they are if you try to vote more than once (hint.)
