New Caribbean market, Buxton Glory, open at 4013 Georgia

The other day I was walking in southern Petworth and spotted a new place: Buxton Glory International Market at Georgia and Shepherd.

The market has a Guyanan Guyanese flag on the sign and the lady working said they’ve been there about 6 months.

It wasn’t a big place, but they had a lot of various ethnic and international food: Caribbean food like coconut flour and lots of spices and sauces, chow mein noodles, drinks and cookies from all over the place, plus some usual convenience store items.

Definitely worth stopping by if you’re in the area or looking for something new.
