Whoa! Lyman’s Tavern at 14th and Quincy is celebrating their one-year anniversary, and from 1-2 pm today Teddy Roosevelt from the Nationals will be there! Sadly he won’t be there later on, but on the bright side, pinball will be free all day and drink specials start at 6.
Lyman’s is a solid bar — chill, neighborhoody spot with a good vibe, tasty food (pupusas, popcorn) and lots of space to sit or talk or play pinball. Check it out if you haven’t been. (They also have a great birthday deal, you drink for free!)
