Summertime is always a buzzing time at Latin American Youth Center (LAYC), with youth engaged in different camps and program services. This summer looked different; while disconnected physically, we were connected through a virtual world.
It is critical that our youth continue to be engaged and exposed to learning. More than ever, we must be intentional about ensuring our youth are connected and engaged so they can have a sense of community, support, belonging, and a safe space to learn and grow with their peers.
This summer, our youth were exposed to different mediums, arts, graffiti, creative writing, photography and so much more that allowed them to come together to learn and express themselves.
Join them in celebrating the accomplishments of their youth during the Together For Hope Virtual Youth Expo on Wednesday, September 16th at 6pm.
