There’s a new neighborhood festival coming this weekend: Georgia Avenue Day, which is this Saturday, August 17. I’ve seen a few posters around the Georgia Avenue Metro for it, it’s organized by a group called Art Rave. It’s at Bruce Monroe Park at Georgia & Irving and goes from 11am to 7pm.
The website says there will be artists, makers, food, music and more, and it looks like they are still accepting vendors and volunteers, so if you’re interested in helping out or selling your wares, take a look.
