This sounds like a neat event. Buildings and Books, a 501(c)(3) group that raises money to build libraries for kids in Africa, is holding a fundraiser at Meridian Pint.
Here are the details:
- The the event is open to the public and from 4-7 pm on July 21 at Meridian Pint
- There will be free, light, appetizers, shuffleboard (we have the whole basement), and a range of great people!

We’re hoping to raise enough at the event to cover half the cost of a library, which will hopefully allow Buildings & Books to establish two libraries this year, after having built one library each of the past two years. The organizations recently updated its website with pictures of its first two libraries in Kenya.
Always nice to see this kind of thing.
