Georgia Avenue Thrive is launching First Friday on Georgia Avenue today, a way to celebrate local businesses in the area with giveaways, freebies, deals and more. It’s a neat way to learn more about all the cool stuff on the street. There’s also things for kids, pets, and yoga enthusiasts!

The idea is that it will be a monthly event with lots of local spots participating. Pretty neat, I plan to check it out.

Here’s more details.
