District Dogs, the doggie day care and pet-sitting spot coming to the old Petworth Liquors space, is making progress — their website says they’re aiming at a mid-October opening. They’ve also gotten a new paint job, which makes the building look a million times better.
This is a welcome development — Petworth Liquors had a lot of problems with loitering, public intoxication, public urination, harassing passersby and more, and mercifully the Zuckermans, who one the building, did not renew their lease.
They’re located at 3210 Georgia Ave NW and offer doggie day care, dog walking and pet sitting.
