If you needed another reason to sign up for the new DC Bocce league coming to Columbia Heights (play will be at 9th and Spring) now there’s a spot nearby for post-game drinks: they’re signed up the Looking Glass Lounge at Georgia and New Hampshire as the league bar.
I’ve played in DC Bocce leagues for awhile and they’re fun, plus the bar deals are generally $10 pitchers of decent stuff, like Peroni or Blue Moon.
The games will be on the weekends at 1 and 2 pm and registration closes October 1.
