TheColumbia Heights Community Marketplace just finished its successful first season a few weeks ago, but it’s not too early to think about next year. They’re holding a planning meeting tomorrow and community members are welcome to come and give input. Here’s the details:
We invite you to attend the board and planning meeting for the Columbia Heights Community Marketplace on Thursday, December 2 (tomorrow) at 7 p.m. in the second floor community room of the Park Triangle Apartments at 1375 Kenyon Street, NW.
The season is over, but planning for the next has just begun!!
Special to our standing agenda is debriefing on the exciting and successful “Harvest Evening fundraiser” held on Thursday, November 18th, incorporation of the Marketplace, insurance, permitting and review of nomination and election procedures for the new board of directors. We hope to have the board elections at the final meeting Thursday, December 16th and seat the new Marketplace Board of Directors on Thursday, January 6, 2011. So, if you’re interested, come on out!
