Nestled in the Tivoli Center of Columbia Heights, Coffy Café (3310 14th Street NW) serves up delicious food in a fun and relaxing environment that has a bit of a ‘60s theme vibe. The cafe is locally-owned and operated by Yahya Sardari, a seasoned foodie with a real love for the ultimate cup of coffee.
While perhaps best known for its amazing sweet and savory crepes, Coffy Café also serves up delicious sandwiches, salads, specialty drinks, and more.
For years, Coffy Café has brought together native Washingtonians, college students, and business people in a welcoming and warm environment. It’s a place for community meetings, unwinding with neighbors, relaxing with a book and latte, or grabbing lunch with a colleague.
While some of those things are not possible right now due to COVID, this local business very much needs the community’s support in order to ensure it can continue to fulfill the role of a welcoming third-space for the community once the pandemic is over.
“We are here to serve our community and we need your support to get through this pandemic,” says Yahya. “All of together and one day at a time.”
Coffy Café is currently open inside and outside, with limited capacity. They ask that you please wear your face mask. You can also order for delivery or takeout via Postmates and UberEats. They are strictly following all DC guidelines to keep employees and patrons safe.
Coffy Café has graciously agreed to offer our readers a special 10% discount on in-store orders (for dine in or takeout) of their Chicken Pesto Sandwich and Superfruit Crepe. Just show the ads below to receive your discount!
