The weather is getting nice, which seems to bring more people to our neighborhood coffee shops (I’m partial to Heat da Spot and Qualia on Georgia and Le Caprice on 14th) — and that means fewer places to sit.
The other day at Le Caprice, I spotted this guy taking up two tables. Not cool, man. (I cropped the photo to protect the guilty.) A number of people gave him the eye as they came in, and before somebody actually asked him to cut it out he moved over to take one table. So at least there’s a bit of happy ending.
With the bigger crowds means the need for more seats, or even sharing a table — folks at Qualia are always good at that, it seems. So if you do frequent coffee shops, don’t be like that guy.
