On Saturday, August 24, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., the Bowser Administration, led by the DC Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR), celebrates the 4th Annual Taste of the World Festival to highlight the diversity of international communities living and thriving in the District. The festival is free and open to the public.
The festival will showcase Colombia, Zambia, Peru, Greece, Korea and several Caribbean countries. Featured activities include an alpaca petting zoo, Korean calligraphy display, traditional dance between Peruvian Paso horse and rider, a children’s zone, a Caribbean game station, Caribbean bingo, and more. Residents can also shop for handmade and customary items.
