The other day I noticed some graffiti reading “Black lives matter,” a catchphrase from the recent protests about the deaths of Michael Brown and Eric Garner. I spotted this one at 14th and Spring on black plastic on the fence around the new condos under construction there, and I also saw some farther down 14th near Oak on temporary wood fencing on another construction site.
Always interesting to see political speech like this, and I wonder if they chose the temporary fencing so it’s not vandalism, or at least not as severe. The wood fences often get wheatpasted ads anyway.
