Do you ever want to see videos of a tooth cleaning in progress? If so, get yourself to 14th and Columbia, where Smile Center Dental Clinic is showing videos of dental work in progress broadcasted towards the sidewalk.
The shop, located on the southwest corner, has a big flatscreen TV in the window, which seems to be showing videos of dental work in progress — things like fillings. I was walking by the other evening and stopped, dumbfounded to watch. A lady walking along must have seen it before, she stopped and said something like “isn’t that crazy?” and explained it was a filling.
I agreed, it is crazy. I didn’t expect to see somebody’s mouth open with pointy things and ultraviolet lights zapping their teeth.
I like it, because it is very weird. It also makes me want to floss.
