Good news for dog owners in Columbia Heights: the annual Halloween Dog Costume is back on! This year, 11th & Bark’s contest will be taking place online due to COVID-19.
Timing:
The virtual contest will be open from Tuesday, October 27 through Friday, October 30. The winners will be announced at 3 pm on October 31.

Scariest, Most Original, Best Human/Dog Combo, and Community Favorite
How to Compete:
Submit a photo of your dog in this year’s costume for a maximum of two categories (scariest, most original, best human/dog combo) via the following channels:

Entries will be judged by a panel of judges composed of 11th & Bark Board Members. They will announce the 1st and 2nd place winners on Halloween at 3pm and award ribbons.
Community Favorite:
Photos that are sent to them will also be entered into a “community favorite” vote via the dog park Facebook group (Columbia Heights Dog Park). They will post all entries to the Facebook group on Saturday morning and the one with the most “likes” will win.
