The first ever Sudor Fest is happening tomorrow, Saturday, September 28, 2019!
Come support local artists at the inaugural Sudor Fest – a day-long outdoor music festival featuring a lineup of local bands and artists representing a variety of genres – from American folk to Jamaican reggae to Ska / Punk. The performances kick off with Son La Lucha at 12:30 pm, followed by acts like Gracious Me & The Ingrates and Leon City Sounds, and finished with a 7 pm performance by La Chicha de tu Madre. Check out the full line up here. Sudor Fest is all about “Breaking boundaries and crossing genres to celebrate diverse DMV musical talent and give back to artists who give so much to our communities.” Follow #SudorFest for more info.
The event runs from noon until 10 pm and will be held at the Columbia Heights Green located at 3323 11th St NW, Washington DC 20010 (check out the map below). Entrance is free, but donations are appreciated. You can also sign up to volunteer here.
