There’s another new spot coming to 14th Street. The Pinch, an American restaurant, is coming to the old El Salvadoreno space at 3548 14th Street NW, at Perry Parkwood. It’s going to have 99 seats inside and about 30 in a sidewalk cafe. It’s a two floor space, and the agreement with the neighborhood commission says they may have occasional live music or spoken word performances downstairs.
Like other neighborhood spots, their sidewalk cafe will close at midnight on Friday and Saturday and 11 pm on other nights.
I hope to get some more details soon, but this is a good thing. It’s nice to have something else coming to 14th Street between the area just north of DCUSA (the Allegro building and The Getaway) and the Red Derby at Spring Road.
