ANC1A meeting coming on Wednesday: lots on the agenda

This Wednesday’s ANC1A meeting looks like a big one. ANC1A, for those unfamiliar, is the Advisory Neighborhood Commission for the northern part of Columbia Heights, everything between 16th and Georgia, Spring and Harvard/Columbia (see map at right). They deal with liquor licenses, grants to local businesses and events, and the like.

This meeting is Wednesday at 7 pm at the Harriet Tubman Elementary School gym (13th and Kenyon).

Official Business is limited to 5 minutes of presentation (unless extended by the commission) followed by questions from the commission and audience until a motion to close discussion is passed, followed by an official ANC vote.
