This sounds like a neat thing to check out: starting March 22, the Petworth Citizen and Reading Room at 829 Upshur Street NW will be hosting the Reading Room Comedy Show. The event runs form 7:30 to 9:30 pm, with host Chris Brandt and other comedians in the Reading Room, their neat little events space.
The Citizen also hosts a lot of other neat events, including talks and an upcoming Playback the Tape event with vintage VHS tapes — I really enjoyed one of their events a few months back at the Mothership (RIP.)
