Last year I wrote about the first In It Together Fest, a music and arts festival at DIY (do it yourself) venues around town, including a few in Columbia Heights and surrounding hoods. The festival benefits a few local nonprofits like Collective Action for Safe Spaces which fights street harassment, We Are Family, which works with seniors, and DC Abortion Fund.
This year’s fest has been announced, and it’s going from July 30-August 2, with a big show at St. Stephen’s Church at 16th and Newton.
It sounds like a cool event. Here’s more from the City Paper.
