This sounds pretty awesome: a company called the Whisk(e)y Library is hosting a Scottish whisky (not whiskey) tasting at the Pinch. Here’s more info!

On Saturday, June 20th at 4pm, The Whisk(e)y Library will be hosting a whisky tasting event at The Pinch (3548 14th Street NW). Guests will be treated to 5 single malt whiskies, one from each of the 5 major whisky regions of Scotland, and light appetizers that have been perfectly paired with each of the whiskies. This is an informal, yet informative tasting that will feature a brief presentation on each of the whiskies/distilleries being served as well as background on what goes into making whisky.
