It’s my belief that the 4th of July is one of the best holidays, and the best place in the world to be for it is Columbia Heights. It’s always crazy: people everywhere, fireworks exploding in every direction, tons of house parties, rooftop parties, yard parties and on and on. The fireworks part is the craziest, you can turn 360 degrees and constantly see fireworks launched from all over our area, plus neighborohoods and small towns farther afield — as well as a good view to the Mall’s official display. It’s wild.
