It’s getting to be farmers market season — the Columbia Heights Market has already started its Saturday run, and the Petworth Community Market begins their season this Saturday, March 7.
The market operates in the triangle park where Georgia, 9th and Upshur come together from 9am-1pm.
Here’s the full list of vendors, which includes coffee, baked goods, fruit and veggies, dairy, meat, honey, ice cream and more.
The Petworth Community Market will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. each Saturday, May through November. Our first market of the 2016 season is this Saturday, May 7th. We have been busy during the off-season recruiting new vendors and planning fun activities and are excited about the variety of awesome vendors, music, and activities we have to offer, both returning and new. As we gear up for another successful year, your feedback is important to us. If you have questions or input, feel free to visit with our new market manager, Madeleine, at the red managers’ tent, or stop by our Facebook or Twitter to keep in touch. As always, thank you for supporting your local market. See you on Saturday!
