This is a cool idea: The Hilltop, the newish restaurant and bar at Sherman and Girard, has a chalkboard where you can buy a friend a drink for the next time they come in. Pick the drink and the person, and they’ll get it.
The Hilltop is pretty neat if you haven’t been, tasty food and a good vibe with a lot of good American beer. And during the daytime they host Small Chop, an awesome pop-up coffee shop and pastry spot with kolaches (Texas Czech filled pastries) plus a variety from other bakers.
