Hope you enjoyed our April Fools’ posts: Nude Columbia Heights

April Fools’ Day was this past Saturday, and as always New Columbia Heights had some joke posts. In this case, the blog became Nude Columbia Heights, devoted to the naturism community in our neighborhood, of which I was an active member (fictitiously.) I updated the blog’s banner and various social media portfolios too.

If you missed it, here are the two posts:

I was excited about the 14th annual Naked Saturday at Meridian Hill Park, sponsored by this blog, complete with deep fryers, touch football and slip ‘n’ slides, and there was a nude happy hour at Bad Saint with free seat covers and the exciting benefit that us nudists got to skip the line.

I recommend you don’t go to either place naked. Unless you are into that kind of thing.

Previously we’ve done many April Fools’ posts, like that I moved to Gaithersburg and reviewed all the Chili’s there, that Wonderland was being replaced by a Taco Bell, celebrity chef took over The House strip club and renamed it the Champagne Room, and many DCUSA related posts: Canadians bought it so a Tim Horton’s was coming, the neighborhood was getting renamed to Tivoli Heights, the city was opening a curling rink in the disused parking garage, and so on. You can check out the rest on our archives on the right side (then scroll down.) Also “hey, check out this door.”
