Taqueria del Barrio, the new taco spot in the old Domku space at 821 Upshur Street NW, is making a few tweaks — dropping lunch and brunch, closing a bit earlier and also adding reservations.
The spot, which I’ve heard good things about, is currently at 3 stars on Yelp, so maybe they’re shortening the hours to focus on the fundamentals.

After celebrating its first two weeks welcoming in guests, Taqueria del Barrio will be adding reservations and updating its hours. Guests can now call Taqueria del Barrio at 202-723-0200 or email General Manager Mikey Torres at mikey@taqueriadelbarrio.com to reserve a table.
Taqueria del Barrio will be open from 4pm to 12am on Tuesdays through Saturdays, and 4pm to 10pm on Sundays; a lunch and brunch menu are expected to roll out in the coming months.
