Alfie’s/Tcohup’s Market at 3301 Georgia has been closed for some time as the owners did some traveling, hosting food events in London, Thailand and elsewhere. But now it’s back open on Saturday and Sunday with a new pop-up, Al’s Hot Chicken, featuring Nashville style delicacies, burgers and other brunch items. Here’s more from their website:
Saturday and Sunday morning bringing some of that spicy Nashvegas flavor to DC. Hot chicken, Hot fish, sandwiches and sides will have your mouth begging you for another! Doors open at 12!
And on Friday and Saturday nights from 5-11pm they’re doing Nok Noi, Thai street noodles:
Nok Noi is our weekly Thai hand-made noodle shop pop-up. Every Friday & Saturday guests can nosh out on noodle soups, khao soi & street style stir fried noodle dishes.
All of our curry pastes, egg noodles and broths are handmade each day!Our menu changes weekly so keep up w/ social media for more info on what we have every week!
